Dr. Nicola Christiane Aust

Dr. Nicola Aust holds a PhD in Science from the University of Muenster, Germany. She did a postdoc at the University of Houston, USA with J.K. Kochi before joining BASF’s central research in Ludwigshafen in 1999. In the first years as a lab teamleader she was focussing on organic synthesis and electrosynthesis for intermediates, aroma and agro chemicals. In 2012 Dr. Aust started an expert career at BASF and is now a Principal Scientist heading the research team “Electrosynthesis”.
