DECHEMA and the European Process Safety Centre (EPSC), are intensifying their long-standing cooperation in the field of process safety with the opening of a regional office from the 1 June 2014.
Based in Frankfurt the regional office will be under the direction of Dr.-Ing. Konstantinos Mitropetros who is to provide marketing and technical support to EPSC activities.
Piet Knijff, Chair of EPSC, comments "This is an important landmark in the history of the Centre and represents a great opportunity for both parties to work together in raising the profile of plant and process safety across Europe"
The first activity will be the participation of EPSC in the scientific program and exhibition of CHISA 2014 from 23 to 28 August 2014 in Prague.
The Centre is hosted by the Institution of Chemical Engineers (IChemE) and based in the UK HQ located in Rugby.
