Johan ter Harmsel studied Chemical Engineering in the Netherlands and started his career for Bayer in the Netherlands and Germany in the mid-80’s. In the early nineties he joined Zeton B.V. and has the final responsibility for this Dutch affiliate of the Canadian based Zeton International Inc. since 2006. He is actively involved in developing initiatives in the Netherlands to strengthen process engineering and modular production concepts in the chemical industry. He is a member of the Innovation Board Chemicals of TNO and Board Director of Zeton International Inc.
