"Greater understanding of the role of power-to-gas systems versus batteries for grid balancing. An increasing realization that by means of power-to-gas the gas grid holds the key to enabling the integration of more renewables and less synchronous generation in the electricity grid.

The urgent need to place a value on having ‘renewable gas’ in the gas grid and for policymakers to establish a framework that enables the roll out of power-to-gas systems"
