The Johann Wolfgang Döbereiner Doctoral Prize 2026 of the German Catalysis Society (GeCatS) has been awarded to Dr. Jeroen T. Vossen of the Max Planck Institute for Chemical Energy Conversion.
He is honored for his outstanding doctoral thesis entitled “Selective carbon chain building from synthesis gas”, which makes an important contribution to advancing the understanding and development of catalytic processes.
The Döbereiner Doctoral Prize, endowed with €1,000 and sponsored by Heraeus Precious Metals GmbH & Co. KG, was presented during the 59. Jahrestreffens Deutscher Katalytiker (18–20 March 2026) in Weimar.
