H2 - Beyond the Hype

Green hydrogen is a central building stone for the defossilzation of the energy system and the chemical industry. Germany’s ambitious targets are unlikely to be reached. The challenges of a successful implementation of green hydrogen technologies were analyzed in a joint workshop with participants from the Trans4ReaL project and the German-Australian Business Council (GABC).  Framework conditions and possible criteria to foster successful implementation of electrolyzer projects in Germany and Australia have been derived.
