Membrane technology is currently gaining enormous importance as an energy-efficient separation process. This particularly applies to the separation of micropollutants in water, the replacement of thermal processes in chemical process engineering, and gas separation in energy technology and climate protection.
The DECHEMA/VDI Working Group Membrane Technology together with the German Society for Membrane Technology (DGMT) invite you to the Kassel Membrane Days (former Jahrestreffen Membrantechnik) which will take place on 3 - 4 February 2026 at the H4 Hotel in Kassel.
In keeping with the tradition of DECHEMA working group conferences, we aim to present and discuss new findings from membrane research. Our goal is to facilitate and stimulate exchange between young scientists and established experts. The conference is intended to be internationally open, so both German and English are permitted as lecture languages, slides and posters shall be compiled/prepared in English.
We very much look forward to welcoming you in Kassel in 2026 for an intensive exchange!

You are cordially invited to contribute to the scientific programme with a lecture or poster.
We look forward to your contributions from research institutions, universities, and industry. New work that is not yet completed, recently started or in the planning stage can also be presented.
The following topics will be addressed in particular at the conference:
Please prepare an english title and abstract with 1-2 pages (incl. figures, max. size 1 MB). The abstract should explicitly mention objectives, new results and conclusions or significance of the work.
The selection of the contributions will be based on the review of the abstracts by the scientific committee.

1) Registration fee cannot be waived for authors.
2) Both German and English are permitted as lecture languages; slides and posters should be compiled/prepared in English.
