WORKSHOP: “Digitalization, Big Data and Industry 4.0: Impacts for the Brazilian Chemical Industry”

Digitalization, Big Data, Artificial Intelligence are the current buzz words and plenty of statements, reports, manifestos, and studies etc. are available. Most of these publications describe the potential of the new technologies, but when it comes to real applications, the number of applications is still limited.

This workshop aims to fill this information gap. After a general introduction real world applications are described which demonstrate the state of the art. The workshop will be concluded with an extensive Q&A session where participants can discuss with the instructor about the applicability of the new technologies within their own applications.
