The BMBF project "ReNaRe" is part of the technology platform H2Giga, which aims to develop serial manufacturing of electrolyzers for the production of hydrogen. In the ReNaRe consortium, 13 partners are working on the development of recycling and recovery concepts in order to close the material cycles of the critical raw materials. The project focusses on the recycling of technology metals required for the functionality of large-scale electrolyzers, namely hydrogen-producing alkali, polymer membrane and high-temperature electrolyzers at the end of their use phase.
