The WissKomm Energiewende project is funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) for 45 months. In the project, six partners under the coordination of the Fraunhofer Institute UMSICHT and DECHEMA e.V. are dealing, among other things, with the question of how energy transition and the successes already achieved in the major projects can be communicated. Together with scientists from the Kopernikus projects, Carbon2Chem® and the Fraunhofer Institutes under the leadership of Fraunhofer ISE, the project partners are developing an exhibition on the topic of energy transition. The exhibition "Power2Change: Mission Energiewende" will be on display in two museums, LWL-Industriemuseum Henrichshütte Hattingen and Klimahaus® Bremerhaven, from mid-August 2022. From June 2023, parts of the exhibition will go on tour and be on display in five other exhibition venues in different regions of Germany. The exhibition and its reception will be accompanied by the TU Ilmenau in terms of communication science. The research results will be fed back into the exhibition and the extensive framework program. Wissenschaft im Dialog is responsible for this framework program, the tour of the traveling exhibition and the project communication.
