On Friday, September 12, we invite you on a field trip to visit the "roots of zeolite production in Germany". The open air exhibition "Deutsches Chemie-Museum Merseburg" (www.deutsches-chemie-museum.de) offers a guided tour showing pieces of original machinery from the beginning of industrial chemistry production in the early last century. The second part of the tour goes to Bitterfeld, where zeolite manufacturing started already in 1966 and now a modern zeolite production facility from Clariant is located (organized by F. Scheffler, Universität Magdeburg/D).
