The upcoming "Advances in Chemical Biology" conference will feature latest research from all hot topics in chemical biology.
Lectures by young researchers and the posters exhibition will be at the heart of the conference. In addition to many inspiring invited lectures, the poster authors will have the opportunity to present their posters in a short lecture session.
The keynote lectures by Anna Hirsch (HIPS/HZI Saarbrücken), Maja Köhn (University of Bonn) and Pierrre Stallforth (HKI Jena) will be further highlights of the conference.
A tutorial workshop on 'Prodrugs' by Kurt Ritter will precede the lecture programme.
Additionally, the recipient of the Richard Willstätter Prize, recognizing exceptional long-standing contributions to chemical biology, will also present a keynote lecture.
The scientific committee invites you to submit abstracts for a lecture or poster contribution covering all aspects Chemical Biology, such as methods and tool development, synthetic approaches, structural biology, biocatalysis, secondary metabolites, peptides, carbohydrates, as well as all other chemical biological topics.
The organising committee cordially invites you to submit abstracts of lectures and posters. Deadline for submission is 31 July 2024.
Please prepare an abstract with 1-2 pages (incl. figures, max. size 1 MB, max. 2 pages).
The abstract should explicitly mention objectives, new results and conclusions or significance of the work.

Accepted abstracts will be published for all conference participants in a book of abstracts (PDF file).
The congress language is English.
We also wish to draw attention to our ongoing call for the Chemical Biology Lectureship, which aims to acknowledge the accomplishments of early-career researchers who have made noteworthy contributions to the chemical biology domain through pioneering research methodologies. Qualified candidates should be affiliated with academic institutions in EU countries outside Germany or associated territories, generally under the age of 40.
The deadline for submissions and nominations is 31 July 2024.
