The topic ‘Energy & Climate’ analyses the technological challenges posed by the transformation of the energy system, and identifies and evaluates relevant new technologies and products. This is accomplished by involvement in the corresponding working groups, through contacts with external networks, the organization of scientific events, participation in national and internationalresearch and development projects, and publications.
The transformation of our energy system into a more sustainable one, based on renewable energy sources, is both a tremendous challenge and a unique opportunity for society as a whole. This development will have a dramatic impact on the energy- and emissionintensive chemical industry, its products and processes. At the same time, however, the innovative technologies triggered by the chemical industry will also deliver the solutions to tackle this challenge.
Selected areas covered by the topic Energy & Climate:
10.-14. June 2024, Frankfurt am Main
We are currently for highly motivated scientists and engineers, who want to join our energy & climate team. A description (in German) of our current opening can be found on the DECHEMA job webpage.
