Hydrogen electrolyzers contain many strategic and sometimes critical raw materials. With the market ramp-up of a green hydrogen economy, a sustainable solution for managing the parts, components, and raw materials used in the sense of a circular economy must be developed simultaneously. Different prerequisites, objectives, and needs require a joint dialogue to implement circular strategies successfully. For example, access to information from all value chain areas is necessary for reuse, repair, and recycling. Information handling is crucial in digital transformation and can pave the way for the circular economy.
Digital solution concepts for information management, such as product passports, life cycle files, or Industry 4.0 approaches, are being developed specifically for this purpose and will be introduced in the future. But what information or content is relevant for information management to implement circular strategies for hydrogen electrolysers?
