The Annual Meeting of DECHEMA/VDI Division „Process Engineering and Materials Technology (PEMT)“ together with the "Process and Plant Safety Section" will take place from 16 - 17 November 2026 at Geno-Hotel in Karlsruhe.

Together with the specialist groups “Process and Plant Safety,” and "Process Analytical Technology (PAT)" we are planning dedicated sessions.

The lecture and poster programme will be complemented by an accompanying company exhibition.
Networking is at the heart of PEMT — we actively foster exchange among students, early-career researchers, and experienced professionals from academia and industry during all breaks and the evening poster and exhibitors party.

Deadline for submission: 27 April 2026.
Main Topics:
Please prepare an abstract (incl. figures, max. size 1 MB, max. 1 page). The abstract should explicitly mention objectives, new results and conclusions or significance of the work.
The selection of the contributions will be based on the review of the abstracts by the scientific committee.
Accepted abstracts will be published for all conference participants in a book of abstracts (PDF file).
The congress language is English.
