As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to impact our life and actions, we have come to the decision to hold the 21st International Symposium on Industrial Crystallization (from August 30th to September 2nd, 2021) as an Online Event.
This appears to be the most rationale decision, though it is indeed painful. We feel that by deciding so early we will be able to organize a high quality and rewarding event nevertheless.
When preparing the detailed schedule of ISIC 21, we will do our best to consider the time lags between the whereabouts of our participants so as to enable an enjoyable and successful meeting with the colleagues from our crystallization community:
- We will have an attractive programme, with possibilities for personal exchange.
- Lectures will be given live.
- Posters will be presented as ePoster and web rooms will be generated for discussion.
- Wonder.me will be provided for additional networking.
On the positive side, the decision to hold an Online Event could attract a larger and broader audience, and might help particularly the younger researchers to attend.
We are very much looking forward to meeting you at this year's event – in a rather extraordinary style.
With kind regards
Heike Lorenz on behalf of the Organising Committee
