Catalysis Meets Digital Innovation: Exploring Data Spaces with NFDI4Cat
The NFDI4Cat initiative is dedicated to advancing digital transformation and sustainable innovation in catalysis research. Through tailored tools, services, and training, NFDI4Cat ensures seamless integration of Research Data Management (RDM) into scientifi c workfl ows while adhering to the FAIR principles (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable). This workshop aims to off er practical insights into the eff ective management and utilization of research data to drive advancements in catalysis research, demonstrated through scientifi cally relevant use cases. Participants will:
- Explore use cases developed in collaboration with industry partners, demonstrating the impact of well-structured and FAIR data.
- Understand the opportunities to join our eff orts in creating a Data Space for Catalysis, fostering collaboration and driving research effi ciency.
- Gain insights into Repo4Cat – the NFDI4Cat Repository, a powerful platform for storing, sharing, and accessing high-quality research data.
The workshop will conclude with an open discussion, allowing participants to share their experiences and explore potential collaborations. The networking session during the coff ee break will provide additional opportunities for exchange.
Target audience
Researchers, industry professionals, and stakeholders in catalysis-related research looking to improve their research data management strategies, enhance collaboration, and leverage digital tools for sustainable research innovation. This workshop is off ered as part of the “Jahrestreffen Deutscher Katalytiker” conference program, and every participant is kindly invited to join.
