"Much has been done to develop practical modular continuous production technologies, but there is still a challenge to convince decision-makers to invest. As well as new business models, we need tools and guidance to help decision-makers overcome their perceived fears."

Mark Talford is a Chartered Chemical Engineer. He joined Britest in 2006, having previously worked in both academia and the civil nuclear industry in the UK. At Britest Mark has worked with industry and academia globally to help develop and implement tools and methodologies to support techno-economic decision-making in the pharma and fine chemical industries. He became Technical Director in 2012, responsible for the continued development of Britest's toolkit, and Interim CEO in 2018.
