CARE-O-SENE

CARE-O-SENE (Catalyst Research for Sustainable Kerosene) is a German-South African research project for the development of Fischer-Tropsch (FT) catalysts. Optimized catalysts will allow to produce sustainable aviation fuels (SAF) more efficiently, with the target to improve the kerosene yield to more than 80% for the final process steps. The new catalysts will allow an optimised facility design. The ultimate goal is to enable the transformation of the aviation industry into a sustainable future.

Hebei Xinpeng New Materials Technology Co., Ltd.

Founded in 2015 with a registered capital of 150 million yuan (CNY) and occupying 214,000 square meters, Hebei Xinpeng specializes in high-performance catalysts for petroleum refining and coal chemical industries. As a high-tech enterprise with import and export capabilities, it combines technology introduction, assimilation, and innovation, with a portfolio of proprietary technologies. Xinpeng is ISO-9001, ISO-14000, and ISO-45001 certified and has earned accolades including National High-tech Enterprise. Xinpeng's main product, the Fe-B-based Fischer-Tropsch catalyst, developed by the National Institute of Clean-and-Low-Carbon Energy, has been applied in CHN Energy and LU'AN CHEMICAL GROUP. The company also offers a range of additives and catalysts used by major enterprises such as Sinopec, PetroChina, and CNOOC, and has a long-term partnership with KBR.

INERATEC GmbH

INERATEC produces sustainable fuels (e-Fuels) and chemical products manufactured in modular chemical plants using the power-to-X or gas-to-X process. Hydrogen produced from renewable electricity is converted with greenhouse gases such as CO2 into e-kerosene, CO2-neutral diesel, synthetic waxes, methanol or SNG. INERATEC has already implemented industrial-scale power-to-liquid plants at German sites to boost the availability of sustainable fuels and lead the way into the next era of mobility.
