We are pleased to announce that preceding the German Zeolite Conference (DZT) together with the Annual Meeting of the DECHEMA group Adsorption, a dedicated workshop for students, PhD students and postdoctoral researchers will be offered on February 26th 2025. The objective of this year’s workshop is to provide the fundamentals and insight into state-of-the-art techniques in materials characterization by several experts in the respective fields: On advanced physisorption techniques (Dr. Rémy Guillet-Nicolas, Normandie Univ/ENSICAEN/UNICAEN/CNRS, Caen, France), on solid-state NMR spectroscopy for materials characterization (Dr. Jan Blahut, Charles University Prague, Czech Republic) and new nanotomography techniques for three-dimensional characterization of porous materials (Dr. Benjamin Apeleo-Zubiri, Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg, Germany). Participants will have the opportunity to deepen their understanding of these central tools in chemistry and materials science, to connect with fellow PhD students and to engage with experts in the field.
Registration to the workshop will be possible during the registration process for the conference. Participation to the workshop is free of charge, travel costs are not covered.
Content and workshop leaders
Dr. Benjamin Apeleo-Zubiri (Friedrich-Alexander Universität (FAU) Erlangen-Nürnberg):
