Together with partners from Flanders (Belgium) and the Netherlands, DECHEMA has analysed the chemical cluster in Northwestern Europe as part of the project 3C-VaCS (Trilateral Chemical Region – Value Chain Structures). The report assesses the current state of the chemical industry within the Trilateral Chemical Region, comprising Flanders, the Netherlands, and North Rhine-Westphalia, and identifies pathways and prerequisites that provide competitiveness amid transformation, energy crisis and cost pressures.
The report offers an up-to-date and detailed analysis of the petrochemical value chain in the Trilateral Chemical Region, which – starting from the steam cracker – builds the foundation of chemical production.
