Various prizes will be awarded at the Jahrestreffen Deutscher Katalytiker. The presentation of the prizes will take place at the GeCatS Party on Thursday, 16 March 2023.
This renowned international prize is awarded for outstanding work that has contributed towards extending the fundamentals of catalysis and its exemplary application in industry.
The Alwin-Mittasch-Prize is endowed with 10.000 Euro and sponsored by BASF SE.
The German Catalysis Society and DECHEMA award the prize to promote young scientists in the field of catalysis. The prize is presented for research work and development by young scientists in the field of catalysis who have not yet been appointed to a full chair and who have made a special contribution to the field of catalysis through fundamental and original research. The awardee should not be older than 40 years.
The Jochen Block-Prize is endowed with 3.000 Euro.
Part of the conference is a poster exhibition where the five best posters will be awarded with a poster prize (100 Euro).
The "Rote Löwen" are awarded to authors who have published a large number of papers at several Jahrestreffen Deutscher Katalytiker.
