Please prepare an abstract with 1 page (incl. figures, max. size 1 MB). The abstract should explicitly mention objectives, new results and conclusions or significance of the work.

DECHEMA will not make any adjustments regarding the author information. The information will be published as given, so please double-check.

The selection of the contributions will be based on the review of the abstracts by the scientific committee. Accepted abstracts will be published for all conference participants in a book of abstracts (PDF file).

The congress language is English.

Registration is possible up to the beginning of the conference (subject to capacity in the lecture rooms). You will receive an email with a booking confirmation as well as hyperlinks to download your invoice and payment confirmation as PDF files.

Payment

Payment of participation fees is by credit card (Master-Card, Visa, Amex or Diners) or direct debit.

Cancellation and Refunds

Cancellations will only be accepted in written form (i.e. by post or e-mail).

In case of no-show or cancellation of participation, the full participation fee must be paid. Details on cancellation deadlines and fees can be found in the conference terms and conditions.

Registration

Please note: Registration fee cannot be waived for authors. Please use the online registration, if not yet done.
If you are unable to present your lecture or poster for any reason, please let us know as soon as possible.

The deadline for the registration of authors is:  15 September 2025.

Conference Laguage

The official conference language is English. Please prepare the lectures and posters in English language. Simultaneous translation will not be available.

Information for Speakers

Please plan approx. 3-5 minutes of discussion for your presentation within the given presentation time.

Technical Information

- Presentation laptop and wireless presenter available 
- Format for the presentation: 16:9. 

Please bring your presentation slides as PowerPoint or PDF-File on a USB stick. Nevertheless, we kindly ask you to bring your own laptop computer as a backup. In case that you need internet or a special software for your presentation, please notify us in advance.

Strict timekeeping will be essential for the smooth running of the conference. We suggest to use a minimum font size of 24 pt for your presentation slides.

Short CV

Some information is needed by the chairpersons to introduce their session’s speakers.

Please complete this form or use your own short CV and upload this at the SharePoint until 15 September 2025 at the latest.

The SharePoint is mentioned in the confirmation message.

Information for Poster Authors

Size: DIN A 0 vertically oriented as printed poster (0,85 m width / 1,2 m height) 
Please note: we have no possibility to print your poster onsite.

Fixing material: double-sided tape available onsite.

A poster board will be provided for each poster.  The posters will be shown throughout the whole conference. Please set up your poster at the beginning of the Annual Meeting on 10 November 2025 and remove it after the conference.

Preparation of a Poster

As a major guideline it is proposed to make the poster intelligible in itself, even in the absence of the author. It is suggested to divide the content of each poster into introduction, results and conclusion, with a summary listing the pertinent results and conclusion.

To ensure that the text is still legible from a distance of 2-3 m, the main text should be written in font size 25-30 pt, marginal information can be slightly smaller with font size 20-25 pt. The title of a poster must be readable from a distance of approx. 5 m (100-200 pt). Subtitles and headings in the text can be written in 50 pt font.

Short Poster Introductions on Monday, 10 November, 11:40 and 16:10

Please present your poster orally in a short poster introduction. We plan 1 or 2 minutes (1-2 slides, 16:9). The final length of the presentation will be determinde midst of October.

To ensure that everything runs smoothly, your slides will be uploaded to the presentation laptop in advance. Please upload your slides as a PDF file to SharePoint 2025_PEMT_Poster_Presentations by 31 October 2025 at the latest.

Poster numbers will be announced in good time. 

The 3 best posters will be selected by the participants in a vote. The prizes (each 100 €) and the certificates will be awarded in the closing session on Tuesday, 11 November, 15:20.
