Information for Lecturers

If you are unable to present your lecture for any reason, please let us know as soon as possible.

 

Duration of Oral presentations

Keynote speaker: 40 minutes including 5 minutes time for discussion
Oral presentation: 20 minutes including 5 minutes time for discussion
Short oral poster presentation: 5 minutes including 1-2 minutes for discussion.

Strict timekeeping will be essential for the smooth running of the symposium.

 

Conference Language

The official language of the conference is English. Simultaneous translation will be not available.

 

Technical conditions onsite and requirements how to prepare your presentation

Presenters are requested to bring their presentation on a USB with them to the conference and upload it on the presentation laptop in the lecture room before the session starts in the morning or during the breaks. Nevertheless we kindly ask you to bring your own laptop computer as a backup. In case you need internet/special software for your presentation or if you have videos included in your presentation, please notify the conference secretariat in advance.


Introduction to the audience

A brief CV questionary enables the appropriate chair person to introduce all lecturers to the audience. Therefore lecturers are asked to download the CV form and to return it to the conference secretariat by 18 December 2015 .

Posters should be prepared according to the given guidelines. Please download the poster instructions.


Poster placement and poster presentation

Posters and poster boards are numbered according to the numbers in the final programme.

 

Short oral poster presetations

Some of the posters will be selected for the poster presentations’ session. Authors of selected posters will be informed as soon as possible after the deadline for submission of last-miute posters (11 December 2015).
