The availability of high-performance sensor systems is a prerequisite for the success of biotechnology in the era of industry 4.0.
The conference "Smart Sensors - mechanistic and data driven modelling" deals with current and future developments within this area, provides insights into specific applications and highlights challenges and opportunities.
Be there when projects and results will be presented to a broad international audience from both industry and science! The topics of the conference are:
1. Sensors and sensor concepts for closed-loop control
2. Sensor networks
3. Intelligent sensors
4. Life cycle management of sensors
5. Self-monitoring sensors
6. Virtual sensors
7. Digitalisation concepts for sensors
In addition to their particular measuring tasks, today’s sensors must be able to make independent process decisions as well as to control and optimize processes in real time. For this purpose, it is important that the sensors are capable of complex signal processing, self-diagnosis, and independent validity testing, are able to evaluate, summarize and pass on information about themselves and the environment as well as making decisions on this basis. At the “Smart Sensors” conference, experts from academia and industry, suppliers and users will discuss how smart sensors can promote “biotechnology 4.0”.
We are looking forward to welcoming you in Frankfurt!
