The programme of the 6th European Conference on Natural Products from 2 - 4 June 2027 in Freiburg will again feature the recent advances from all fields in secondary metabolite research: biosynthesis, synthetic biology, organic syntheses, targets and MoA/ chemical biology, chemical communication, and the advanced methods in NP discovery and characterization.
Russell Cox (University Hannover), Tania Gaich (University Konstanz), Yen-Ping Hsueh (MPI Tübingen), Timm Maier (Biozentrum Basel), Anne Osbourn (John Innes Centre) and Wenjun Zhang (University of California) will give the keynote lectures.

You are cordially invited to submit to the scientific programme with a poster or lecture.
Deadline for submission is 11 October 2026.
You can submit papers for the following topics:
Please prepare an abstract with 1-2 pages (incl. figures, max. size 1 MB, max. 2 pages).
The abstract should explicitly mention objectives, new results and conclusions or significanceof the work.
Accepted abstracts will be published for all conference participants in a book of abstracts (PDF file).
Please note: Registration fee cannot be waived for authors.

The Max Buchner Research Foundation awards travel grants to young scientists for the presentation of scientific and technical research work at scientific forums, congresses, symposia, conferences and other specialist events in the fields of chemical engineering, process engineering, biotechnology and related research areas.
Researchers at universities and non-university research institutions who present a lecture or poster can apply for a travel grant.
Applications are assessed and approved on a quarterly basis. In order to get your application approved before the conference, we recommend to apply by 15 March 2027.
