Micro process engineering in practice
21 October 2018, 10:00-16:00 at KIT (Campus North), Karlsruhe
Prior to the conference a half-day workshop will be organised for newcomers to the field and delegates from companies not yet using micro process technology. Internationally recognised experts will give tutorial lectures on heat exchange, mixing, reaction and separation in microsystems, on scale-up and on new directions in microfluidics and flow chemistry.
The workshop will give an introduction to the practical side of micro process engineering and will also cover important recent trends.
Topics will be addressed by experts in the field. The teaching format is interactive and will include visual aids and demonstration material.
The workshop takes place at the Institute for Micro Process Engineering at KIT Campus North on Oct. 21 from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. Participation fee is 80 €, which includes all the material, refreshments and lunch.
Shuttle bus: A shuttle bus for all workshop attendees will depart at 9:15 a.m. from "Festplatz" directly at the conference venue going to KIT campus north and will go back at 4:00 p.m.
Registration to the workshop is required by October 5. Up to 30 participants can be accepted.
