The programme of the 4th European Conference on Natural Products (6 - 8 September 2021, virtual conference) will again feature the recent advances from all fields in secondary metabolite research: biosynthesis, synthetic biology, organic syntheses, targets and MoA/ chemical biology, chemical communication, and the advanced methods in NP discovery and characterization.
Jon Clardy (Harvard Medical School), Markus Kalesse (Institute of Organic Chemistry, Leibniz University of Hannover/DE), Sarah O’Connor (Max Planck Institute for Chemical Ecology, Jena/DE), Mohamed Donia (Department of Molecular Biology, University of Princeton/US), Tomohisa Kuzuyama (Department of Biotechnology, University of Tokyo/JP), Manuela Tosin (Department of Chemistry, University of Warwick/UK), Alison Narayan (Department of Chemistry, University of Michigan/US), Seth B. Herzon (Department of Chemistry, Yale University/US), and Katherine Ryan (Department of Chemistry, UBC Vancouver/CA) will give the keynote lectures.
They will report on the biosynthesis of plant NPs, metallate rearrangements and cyclization reactions in NP synthesis, chemical probing of NP biosyntheses, enzymes of NP biosynthesis, and the discovery of NPs by bioinformatics.
We are pleased that most of the keynote speakers will be available for Meet the Speaker sessions in the evening of each day.
The best POSTER will be awarded through the generous support of Peer J.
The conference is scheduled for the following times (CEST):
Monday, 6 September 2021, 09:00 - 18:00h
Tuedsday, 7 September 2021, 09:00 - 18:00h
Wednesday, 8 September 2021, 09:00 - 17:00h
(Central European Time/ UTC+01:00; Amsterdam, Berlin, Bern, Rom, Stockholm, Wien)
As of 26 August 2021. All times and speakers are subject to change.
At the end of each lecture day you will have the possibility to further engage with the speakers during a "Meet the speakers" session.
The session will take place in Zoom Meetings, so that you may also use your audio and video.
It is not necessary to download the Zoom app, but for the best use we hardly reccommend to do so.
