New Bioprocesses, New Bioproducts is the topic for the next Himmelfahrtstagung, the most important meeting for bioprocess and biochemical engineers in Germany.
At the Himmelfahrtstagung 2021, we would like to take a look at the entire value chain of bioproduction, from innovative strain development methods to new prokaryotic and eukaryotic production strains, smart reactor concepts, and innovative downstream processing. We will discuss bioproduction processes for biopharmaceuticals and industrial biotech products.
Please note: Due to the current pandemic situation, the committee and the organisers have decided to hold the Himmelfahrtstagung as an online event and assume that this is also in the interest of all participants.

Traditionally, participants of the Himmelfahrtstagung meet on the second evening of the conference. At the virtual conference we would like to continue this tradition and offer you the opportunity to exchange experiences and to get to know each other. We would like to take you along on an early summer event. We will meet personally in small groups* and become virtually part of the large Himmelfahrtstagungs-community.
Participation in the evening event will cost 25 euros and includes 4 bottles of different local beers and a glass.
