Different prerequisites, objectives, and needs require a joint dialogue to implement circular strategies successfully. For example, access to information from all value chain areas is necessary for reuse, repair, and recycling. Information handling is crucial in digital transformation and can pave the way for the circular economy.
Digital solution concepts for information management, such as product passports, life cycle files, or Industry 4.0 approaches, are being developed specifically for this purpose and will be introduced in the future.
